Teaching Assistant Level 2 [United Kingdom]


 

Kingsway Community Trust wishes to appoint highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistant to join the Key Stage 2 team at Cringle Brook Primary, supporting children individually and in small groups, supporting learning, social and pastoral development.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents. A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential. This role includes lunchtime supervision. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.

Salary - TA level 2, Grade 3 , 35 hours per week - £21,189 pro rata, equates to apx £17,282 per annum

Hours of work will be 3 days at 8.30am to 3.20pm with 40 minutes unpaid lunch, 1 day at 8.30am to 4.30pm with 40 minutes unpaid lunch and 1 day at 8.30am to 4.40pm with 40 minutes unpaid lunch which totals 33.34 hours.

First stage assessments: 7 July 2023

Second stage assessments/interviews: 12 July 2023

This position is subject to 2 professional references and DBS clearance.

Kingsway Community Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in South Manchester. The Trust is comprised of three, Ofsted graded Outstanding primary schools; Ladybarn Primary School, Cringle Brook Primary and Green End Primary School.
